G.P. WEST INVITATIONAL
    January 11-12, 2008

          The GP West Varsity Invitational showcased some great wrestlers
    and great matches.  Union County, Kentucky (the 2007 Kentucky State
    Champions) provided strong competition for the field as they won the
    tournament with 243 points and 4 individual champions.  Franklin High
    School finished 2nd with 169.5 points and 2 champions.  

            The Junior Varsity tournament was won by Clarksville High School
    and the freshmen tournament was won by Father Ryan High School.

            Cameron Croy of Brentwood High School was the tournament
    Outstanding Wrestler.  He was the 189 lb Champion.  The Best Match of
    the tournament among many was the 130 lb finals between Dustin Ortiz
    of Franklin and Ziad Aboulmouna of Tullahoma.
